Multi Track Song Recorder Pro App Reviews

Playback of multiple tracks is out of sync, making this app effectively useless as a multi-track recorder. Please fix this!

This app worked great initially, but I opened it recently and it must have auto-updated. Since then, it often plays songs out of sync...

Thanks for the update and upgrade. The most glaring thing missing is the abilty to monitor the input device. I use a Tascam iZX Mic & Guitar interface whichs allows for monitoring as long as the app is set up to do so. While the Tascam recording app alllows for this, it is only for single track recording. Also, the app shuts down if the iPhone locks. As well, this app will not operate in the background, which would be helpful especially with referencing lyrics stored via a seperate app such as Notes. a noticable bug is that when you email tracks it sends mutliple duplicate emails - about 10. Finally you have to disable all other notifications otherwise the app will shut down.

I love this App for its simplicity. I just wish for one function - the ability to start recording from anywhere in the song instead of having to record every track from the beginning. If you could add that and maybe reverb for my vocals, or audiobus support Id give it 5 stars!

Does what it says on the tin.

Great for simplicity. My only complaints are that you cannot pan the tracks (which makes recording multiplied guitar parts sound a bit jumbled), and that every recorded take has to be from the very beginning. With those it would be a 5 star app.

This is a very effective app for voice recordings. I havent used it for mixing yet.

I tried to save a song I recorded using all four tracks and ended up having to delete three other songs I recorded and a few apps to make more than enough space but the app kept telling me there wasnt enough space (when my usage showed that there was more than enough) and it wouldnt let me export the track because of that. the whole recording was erased and so was this app.

Everything was fine with this app until I updated to the newest version, now the apps wont stay in sync for some reason

I have really enjoyed this app. I have a love of music; especially creating songs. I enjoy singing and harmonizing with the tracks that I create. It is a very easy app to learn. And it has brought me a lot of enjoyment. I have recommended this app to other musicians. I believe there is no limit to what you can do while creating a song with MTS are pro. Thank you so much for the app!

Nice tool to record ideas.

Bought this app to do voiceover on a song track. Unfortunately, my voiceover track, which was recorded with correct timing, does not stay in sync with the music track. I havent tried more than two tracks or doing anything other than my intended use, because thats all I wanted it for. Thus the app is rendered useless for my purposes.

I would like to play music on background while SoundCloud is open. It would be excellent!

Ive been using either my iPhone video or voice recorder to capture riff or song ideas with my mandolin or acoustic guitar. Problem with those apps is that they are one dimensional. Now, with this app I am able to throw down a quick idea, another on top of it, see how melody line might sound, work out a solo and test different changed in a heartbeat. Less of a pain to use than one of my expensive Boss multi-track recorder and just faster but mainly more convenient. Editing is not available and I quickly found myself wanting to use most of a track but couldnt because I could not cut a part out and same the rest but that is a fairly advanced need and best done on a higher end PC based studio really. Only real complaint is the inability to save or export as a simple, standard file type like an MP3 - that would make it even better. Overall, love it and will use it almost everyday!

But need more tracks added please !!!!and it will be sooo cool if you add auto tune
